#137 at a Glance:
Quote: Unspoken expectations.
Podcast: Mark Bouris x Tony Abbott.
Interesting Phenomenon: Just how dependent are we on AI?
Hack: Take a 10-minute walk after eating.
Tweet: The winning formula.
Quote I’ve been thinking about:
“Many frustrations are the result of unspoken expectations. Before you get too annoyed, make sure you are clearly expressing your thoughts.”
Podcast I listened to:
Straight Talk #215 - Tony Abbott
Apart from the fact that he was our former Prime Minister, I can honestly say that I didn’t know too much about Tony Abbott before listening to this podcast.
Throughout the course of the discussion, not only did I learn more about Abbott himself, but I also grew tremendous admiration for his ability to be so thoughtful in his ideas and deliberate in his speech.
The chat absolutely flew by and I was left pondering not only the state of Australia’s political landscape, but also the richness of our history as a nation.
"Modern Australia rests on three pillars: an indigenous heritage, a British foundation, and an immigrant character.”

Interesting Phenomenon I came across:
Just How Dependent Are We On AI?

That is absolutely wild to me.
Especially when we consider the fact that most of the companies generating those returns are (at this point in time) completely unprofitable and working on growth multiples predicated on the integration of AI into virtually every corner of the economy.

Hack I’ve been using:
Take A 10-Minute Walk After Eating
Super simple but unexpectedly powerful addition to my daily routine:
Taking a 10 min walk after finishing every meal.
Accelerates digestion, lowers blood pressure, improves sleep.
And you just generally feel better.
It’s also a nice way to offset the slump you can sometimes experience after big meals, especially in the afternoon.
Game changer.
