Quote I’ve been thinking about:
“Since you cannot do good to all, you are to pay special attention to those who, by the accidents of time, or place, or circumstances, are brought into closer connection with you.”
Podcast I listened to:
All-In Summit 2025 with Chris Wright
Fascinating round table discussion between the All-In guys and US Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright.
Great insights into the US energy grid and the policy principles that will inform the investment environment for years to come.
Highly recommend.
Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube.

Video I watched:
Pierre Lassonde Breaks Down The Gold Market
Gold is going through one of the most prolific bull markets that the industry has ever witnessed.
In this video, Pierre Lassonde, legendary gold investor and inventor of the Lassonde Curve, breaks down the market dynamics which support his belief that the we are still in the very early stages of what could be a 5+ year booming market for the precious metal.
Here’s how I would summarise his perspective:
In 2000, the US GDP was ~$14 trillion with ~$5 trillion of debt. Since then, the GDP has doubled to ~$28 trillion, but the country’s debt has increased to over $38 trillion during that same time period. Given this deterioration of the US’ financial position, central banks across the world are increasingly selling USD and buying gold as a more secure method of storing currency.
To put that anti-dollar sentiment into perspective, central banks are now responsible for buying over 1,200 tonnes of gold each year, representing over one-third of global production.
Couple this with gold’s role as a physical hedge against geopolitical risks, highly volatile financial markets, and declining credibility of the US Federal Reserve, and you have what Pierre refers to as the perfect storm for a gold market that has the potential to exceed that of the 1970s.
Fascinating stuff, absolutely love diving into this.

Hack I came across:
What To Spend Time On Each Day
"Each day, spend some time on two things:
- working toward something that will pay off years from now
- appreciating something that is happening right now"
(h/t – James Clear)
Tweet I liked:
The 2 Types of Entrepreneurs
There are fundamentally two kinds of entrepreneurs: The first kind wants to impose their will on the world, while the second listens to what the world wants and simply delivers it.
